The San Jose restaurant Nemea Greek Taverna is planning to operate at a new address, 340 S California Ave in Palo Alto, according to a pending On-Sale General Eating Place permit with the State of California.

The permit was filed by Nemea’s owner, Dino Tekdemir, who also owns Anatolian Kitchen and Naschmarkt Restaurant.

Describing itself as serving “a mix of classic & modern Greek dishes,” the Nemea Greek Taverna menu items include the starters: hummus, roasted eggplant, and greek yogurt served with pita bread. Mains include plates like charcoal-broiled octopus, lamb meatballs, tiger prawns, and zucchini cakes. For dessert, customers may choose from baklava, chocolate mousse, and loukoumathes, which are traditional greek beignets served with fudge or honey syrup. They also offer an extensive beverage menu, including wine, cocktails, and beer.

While specific details about the Palo Alto location have not yet been disclosed, in addition to traditional lunch and dinner menus, the San Jose location also offered custom menus for large party reservations, private rooms, china, glassware, barware, linens, floral arrangements, decoration, bands, DJ’s, and live Greek music, as well as catering.
