According to a recently filed alcohol license application, a new dining concept, Marin’s Kitchen and Coffee, is preparing to open in Oakland.

Coming to 400 21st Street, the cafe will soon begin “brewing up a good time,” per its Instagram bio, near establishments such as the Mexican restaurant Agave Uptown, the eatery Haus of Chefs, and the Middle Eastern restaurant Shawarmaji.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s co-owner, James Woodard — who is also the restaurateur behind Smokin’ Woods BBQ LA — to inquire about his plans for the upcoming spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

While a post to Marin’s Kitchen and Coffee’s Instagram page shares that the concept is “coming soon,” an opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
