New Concept Ashby Cafe Coming to Berkeley

According to a recently submitted permit application, a new concept listed as Ashby Cafe is readying to debut in Berkeley.

Coming to 1909 Essex Street, the eatery will land near establishments such as Ashby Bart Subway Station, the coffee shop Ada Cafe, and the breakfast and lunch joint Zing! Cafe.

The concept’s owner, Dean Arbit, tells What Now San Francisco, “It’s a little early in the process for us… we probably won’t be open for at least another 60 days… Right now we’re sort of dealing with the permit process.”

Little more information about the upcoming restaurant is currently available.
