According to a recently submitted permit application, a new concept listed as J’s Snack and Tea is gearing up to open in Berkeley.

Coming to 2505 Hearst Avenue, Suite G, the eatery will land near establishments such as the Chinese restaurant Camille Restaurant, Delah Coffee, and the Nepalese restaurant Mt. Agni.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Ping Dong, to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing provides a brief introduction to the concept: “We are a restaurant to sell bento boxes, snacks, and milk teas.”

An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
