According to a recently submitted permit application, a new dining concept, Sushi Time, is coming to Martinez.

Taking over a space at 6635 Alhambra Avenue, the eatery will soon neighbor establishments such as Dae Han Martial Arts, Oasis Veterinary Hospital, and Vibe Dance.

Owner and Sushi Chef Kap Yi — the former owner of RnR Sushi & Bowls in Oakland — tells What Now San Francisco that he is currently cleaning and repainting the interior but that, upon opening, the spot will be able to host 20 diners indoors and another 10 to 12 outside.

On the menu, Martinez locals can expect to find a combination of traditional Japanese foods including sushi rolls, teriyaki plates, and tempura.

Yi says that he is aiming for a November opening.
