According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, a new eatery listed as Your Mom’s House plans to open in El Granada.
Coming to 30 Avenue Portola, Suite 1B — taking over a spot currently home to Breakwater Barbecue — the restaurant will land near establishments such as Glady’s Mini Market, India Beach, and Sam’s Chowder House.
What Now San Francisco spoke briefly with the concept’s co-owner, Paul Watson, who confirmed the name and address of the upcoming eatery but could not provide additional information before publication.
How the arrival of Your Mom’s House will affect Breakwater Barbecue — an awarded eatery known for offering “time-honored, all wood smoked, American craft barbecue… sliced to order and served alongside housemade sides, desserts, and coastal inspired specials” — is still unclear. The business has not signified any plans to relocate.
