According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, a new dining concept listed as Barrera’s Cocina is planning to open in Cole Valley.

Coming to 900 Stanyan Street, the eatery will land near establishments such as the Middle Eastern restaurant Beit Rima, Crepes on Cole, and the French restaurant Zazie.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s co-owner, Bradley Carroll — who will operate the business alongside David Barrera Romero — to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, drawing from the concept’s website, it appears that locals can expect to find Latin American cuisine on the menu.

An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
