According to a recently submitted permit application, a new eatery, Himalayan Grill & Dosa, plans to debut in Petaluma.

Coming to 5306 Old Redwood Highway, the restaurant will soon take over a spot formerly home to Subway, near establishments such as vegan shop Magdelena’s Savories & Sweets, Italian eatery Caffe Giostra, and Thai BBQ House.

Co-Owner Bishnu Pandey confirmed the news with What Now San Francisco, but was unable to provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, considering the upcoming locale’s name, Petaluma locals can expect the menu to offer dosa — a crepe-like pancake traditional in South Indian cuisine, often filled with meat and vegetables — alongside other Indian plates.

According to the filing, Himalayan Grill & Dosa will also sell beer and wine.

An opening date has not yet been announced, so stay tuned for updates.
