According to a recently submitted permit application, a new eatery, Kushinari, is coming to San Jose.

Taking over a spot at 565 N 6th Street, the concept will land near establishments such as Happi House Famous Teriyaki, Roy’s Station Coffee & Tea, and Sushi Maru.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Kushinari’s co-owner, Rodney Kim Park — who will operate the business alongside Marcus Kai and Ken Robert Okano — to inquire about the upcoming restaurant, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, drawing from its name, Kushinari will likely offer a selection of Japanese cuisine alongside beer and wine.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
