According to a recently submitted permit application, a new game cafe called Plucky’s is coming to Burlingame.

Taking over a space at 1352 Broadway, the venue will land near establishments such as Broadway Grill, Cafe Cappuccino, and Cafe Figaro.

“Our cafe is a social fun space with a nice vibe where you can hang out and play tabletop games. We offer a place to socialize, find entertainment by learning and trying new games, and relax with a game-loving community,” the business shares on its website.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s co-owner, Emillie Slaughter, to inquire about Plucky’s, but she could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, locals can expect “a cozy, relaxed, and quiet cafe with cafe-style food and drinks that are simple, delicious, high quality, and game-friendly.”

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
