A delicious new concept will be arriving at the 90 Charter Oak Kitchens, called Chicoos Indian Cuisine.

Owned and operated by Kiranmayi Rayapati, Chicoos is expected to serve traditional Indian fare in a casual environment. You can expect to enjoy staples like Tikka Masala, Biryani, Samosas, and plenty of Paneer.

Chicoos Indian Cuisine would be joining a slew of other new restaurants that are getting their start at 90 Charter Oak. 90 Charter Oak is one of San Francisco’s first “Ghost Kitchens,” a decentralized restaurant concept also referred to as a “Digital Restaurant.” A ghost kitchen is essentially a massive, open kitchen space that can be rented by various businesses to serve food on-the-go without having to pay hefty premiums for additional retail space. Ghost ktichens have seen a serious boost during the recent pandemic, and more and more businesses are turning to them as an efficient way to bring food directly to their customers.

Chicoos would be sharing its new kitchen space with a few other restaurants, such as Donfeva, Fatburger, Ginto Express, Momo Noodle, Ramenfeva, The Counter, and No Baked Cookie Dough. Chicoos would be the first Indian restaurant to arrive in the space.

Rayapati confirmed with What Now San Francisco that he can’t wait to bring his new restaurant to 90 Charter Oak. He wants to be ready to open as soon as possible, but is still waiting for a few more permits to get approved before he can move forward with the next steps.
