In Stockton, keep an eye out for the opening of Lao, Der! at 5646 N. Pershing Ave. near San Joaquin Delta College. Lao, Der! is brought to us by BR Guest Restaurant Group, who previously opened Thai Me Up on Pacific Avenue in 2015.
Lao, Der! promises authentic Laotian cuisine and flavor using Lao cooking techniques. They’ve applied for a beer and wine license back in February and as of recently, have finished construction and began interior renovations to the space.
They are also hiring at this time, so it’s likely that an opening is right around the corner. What Now San Francisco has reached out to representatives for Lao, Der! We will post an update if we gain more details.
