Next Chapter Cocktails & Tapas Lounge, a cocktail and tapas concept blending Peruvian and Mediterranean influences, is getting ready to open in San Francisco at 142 Minna Street.
The new concept is set to move into the former home of The Pink Elephant, according to a liquor license application. Owners Jerremi Clark and Camille Fisher-Clark are leading the project. Clark tells What Now San Francisco that the team is hoping to host a soft opening around the end of March 2026, though an exact opening date has not yet been finalized. Customers can expect a cocktail-focused lounge paired with a menu of Mediterranean and Peruvian-inspired tapas.
The concept is described on social media as a hidden destination tucked into a downtown alley, offering an intimate setting in the SoMa neighborhood. Branding highlights a fusion of Peruvian flavors with Mediterranean small plates, emphasizing shareable dishes and bold combinations.
Located on Minna Street, the address sits in a dense part of SoMa surrounded by offices, nightlife, and residential buildings. This will be an excellent landing space for Next Chapter Cocktails & Tapas Lounge, offering a setting that complements its late-night cocktail-and-tapas format. Its alley location provides a discreet, intimate atmosphere while remaining central.
Food offerings will center on Mediterranean and Peruvian tapas designed for sharing. While a full menu has not yet been released, early previews suggest bold flavors, grilled items, seafood, and vibrant sauces. The bar program is expected to play a central role, pairing creative cocktails with the small plates.
“We’ve been a little quiet, but only because we’ve been working on something very special for our city,” according to the social media announcement. “Next Chapter is coming soon. Sexy. Intimate. Unapologetic. Mediterranean & Peruvian tapas bringing bold, irresistible flavors, paired with sweet sips from a bar program that doesn’t hold back.”
