A new Nick the Greek outpost opens on November 1st at 121 Spear Street.

Franchisee George Fanourgiakis shares with What Now San Francisco that the fast-casual restaurant will offer free food from 11 am until 2:30 pm to greet and give back to the community.

Some menu favorites include gyro bowls, greek froyo with baklava and honey, and loukoumades, which Petroutsas likens to beignets.

In addition to the soon-to-open location at the Rincon Center, Petroutsas is the franchisee of a Nick the Greek outpost in Daly City, one in Foster City, and another in South San Francisco, to name a few. He says that more Bay Area expansion is planned for 2023, but is unable to share addresses at this time.

In addition to being a Nick the Greek franchisee, Fanourgiakis and his brothers own and operate Penelope’s Coffee and Tea. Known for their omelet prepared in a waffle maker, the small chain has four Bay Area locations.

Nick the Greek on Spear Street will operate from 10 am to 9 pm, seven days a week.

Stay tuned for more information about additional Bay Area Nick the Greek locations coming in 2023.
