According to Palo Alto Online, Northeast coffee chain Gregorys is readying to debut its first Palo Alto location.
Coming to 660 Stanford Shopping Center, the coffee shop will join tenants such as La Baguette, Rabbit Rabbit Cream, and ZERO.
“A lot of specialty coffee comes with a lot of bells and whistles and a bit of a pretentious aura to it,” René Puerta, Director of Marketing for Gregorys Coffee, tells the Journal.
He continues, “We believe that we’ve been able to make specialty coffee accessible to anyone, whether you’re in a city, whether in the suburbs, whether you’re at a mall, and at an accessible price point.”
For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, “Gregorys was founded in 2006 in Manhattan, New York with a strong focus on quality, innovative products, and world-class service,” according to its website.
“We work tirelessly to select our coffees and develop roast profiles that bring the absolute best out of each bean. We roast four days a week in our facility in Long Island City, always ensuring the freshness and quality of our brews. In addition to our usual blends, we also always carry limited edition single origin coffees that we source for their unique, exotic, and special flavor profiles,” the statement continues.
The spot was originally slated to open on January 15 but appears to be running behind schedule. Stay tuned for updates.
