According to a recently approved business license application, Oakland-based eatery Phosho Dough plans to open a new location in Berkeley.

Taking over a 3000-square-foot spot at 1235 San Pablo Avenue, the restaurant will land near establishments such as Happy Donuts, Sistory Thai Kitchen, and Tacos El Rulas.

What Now San Francisco contacted the concept’s owner, Richard Kha, to inquire about the expansion, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Phosho Dough, the eatery is known for serving Vietnamese cuisine. Should offerings at the upcoming Berkeley spot remain consistent, patrons can expect menu items such as pho, spring rolls, banh mi sandwiches, and vermicelli dishes.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
