According to a recently submitted permit application, Oakland-based pizzeria Philomena is gearing up to debut in San Leandro.

Coming to 600 Dutton Avenue, the eatery will land near establishments such as Moussaka Mediterranean Kitchen, Sistas Soul Food Kafe, and Zocalo Coffeehouse.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Rachel Fenyves — who is listed as the Co-Director and Chief Financial Officer of the concept, alongside CEO and Co-Direcor Michael Richard — to inquire about the upcoming concept, but she could not provide additional information before publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Philomena, the concept introduces itself as a “neighborhood pizza place with hearty American dishes.”

The eatery offers brunch items ranging from pizza to french toast and shakshuka, classic pizza options, wings, salads, sandwiches, and desserts such as beignets and cookies.

An opening date has not been announced, so stay tuned for updates.
