According to a recently submitted permit application, San Francisco’s Olfactory Brewing plans to open a new location in Berkeley.

“We are a type 23 brewery s-corp with a production/taproom located in San Francisco. We are applying to open a second taproom with beer, food, and wine at 2055 Center Street, Suite D,” the filing states.

The brewery will neighbor establishments such as Crave Subs, K’s Coffee House, and Sliver Pizzeria at the new address.

For readers unfamiliar with Olfactory, the beer maker briefly introduces itself on its website: “Olfactory was born out of a passion to create the best quality brews inspired by traditional and new age techniques.”

At its existing taproom at 2245 3rd Street in San Francisco, the label offers brews divided into three categories — Easy Going Crispy Crushers, Hoppy Pales & Jammers, and Malt Driven Explorations.

An opening date has not been announced yet. For additional updates, follow Olfactory Brewing on Facebook and Instagram.
