According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, Omakase Restaurant Group plans to introduce a new Dumpling Time outpost in Palo Alto.

Coming to Simon Mall at 180 El Camino Real, taking over Suite 1410, the eatery will land alongside tenants such as Blue Bottle Coffee, The Melt, and True Food Kitchen.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, the Simon Mall website offers a brief introduction: “Dumpling Time Stanford: A Modern Cal-Asian eatery where visitors can watch dumplings being made fresh right before their eyes with locally sourced ingredients – casual, social, and fun. Beyond the dumplings, Dumpling Time offers scrumptious vegetable dishes and hand-cut noodles, plus craft cocktails, local beer, notable sake and wine, tea, and more!”

What Now San Francisco reached out to the Group’s Director of Operations to inquire about his plans for the upcoming spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Concerning Dumpling Time’s anticipated opening date, the Simon Mall website states that the concept is “coming soon.” Stay tuned for updates.
