On the heels of upcoming new locations at Walnut Creek and San Mateo, Onigilly founder Koji Kanematsu already has sights set on South Bay. An Onigilly kiosk will be popping up by this coming March at the Westfield Valley Fair in Santa Clara

“This is our first location in South Bay and we are very excited to be opening there. We look forward to serving the San Jose area,” says Kanematsu, who adds that they are currently working with the Santa Clara Planning Department on the next steps.

This particular Onigilly location is special in that it will be an indoor kiosk located outside the mall entrance to the ShowPlace ICON Theatres. Despite its smaller size, Onigilly Santa Clara will be completely outfitted with all the necessary equipment to serve its full regular menu.

South Bay can look forward to custom onigiri rice balls, bowls, soups, and small dishes made with fresh, healthy ingredients. Until then, check out www.onigilly.com for more information.
