Pizza My Heart, the surf-themed pizza parlor that has made waves across the Bay Area, is planning two new locations in Dublin and San Jose this year. Owner Chuck Hammers confirmed with What Now San Francisco that the Dublin and San Jose locations are scheduled to open in May and July, respectively.

Currently, loyal Pizza My Heart fans who live in Dublin have to travel around 10 minutes north to visit the San Ramon location. But now, Dublin is getting its first Pizza My Heart location at 7281 Amador Plaza Road off I-680.

Additionally, Pizza My Heart’s 27th location is planned for San Jose. Recent real estate intel reveals that the restaurant is taking up a 1,652 square-foot space at 1744 Berryessa Road near the San Jose Flea Market. Pizza My Heart opens a few new restaurants every year to serve a consistently growing fanbase.

The restaurant was founded in 1981 at Capitola Beach by Fred Poulos and Keith Holtaway, who served great pizza to beach goers and tourists alike. In 1997, they merged with San Jose-based Pizza A Go Go, who shared their values of great food, customer service, and fun.

To this day, Pizza My Heart remains a family-owned business that has no plans to franchise or sell. For 40 years and counting, they believed that this was the formula to maintaining the quality of their fresh, hand tossed pizza topped with local ingredients, served in a fun and friendly environment that customers make a habit out of visiting.
