Pleasant Hill’s Brunch Eatery The Hangout Is Coming to Walnut Creek

Alongside brunch classics, the upcoming location will offer a dinner menu that centers Asian-fusion cuisine.

The Hangout, a breakfast and brunch eatery at 2217 Morello Avenue in Pleasant Hill, plans to open a new Bay Area location — this time in Walnut Creek.

Coming to 1908 Tice Valley — taking over the former Rossmoor Diner space — the eatery will land near establishments such as Crumbl Cookies, CVS, and El Jardin Taqueria.

Owner Wanee Devakula tells What Now San Francisco that alongside brunch classics — ranging from poutine to parfait to curry — the upcoming location will provide a dinner menu that centers Asian-fusion cuisine.

The Hangout in Walnut Creek is slated to open in January 2023. In the meantime, follow the eatery on Facebook and Instagram.
