El Patio will serve its last Mexican and Venezuelan bites at 2056 San Pablo Ave., West Berkeley, on July 3, 2025. The San Francisco restaurant and bar announced the news through an Instagram post. But before bidding goodbye, it will be hosting events, including a private lunch, a yakitori pop-up, and a last-day event. Dates for the same are shared in the same farewell post.
El Patio had thanked patrons and reflected on years of shared memories. From kids tasting lime for the first time to first dates and marriages, the restaurant reminisced about its service for different occasions. El Patio remembered how it sailed through the pandemic as well.
