PPQ Dungeness Island, a “contemporary restaurant featuring Dungeness crab specialties and traditional Vietnamese fare,” is relocating from its spot on Clement Street to a new address just a few blocks away.

According to a recent announcement on Instagram, the eatery will take over a space at 5821 Geary Boulevard, the former home of Ton Kiang.

“We’ve been at Clement Street for almost 23 years, and it’s been a great place since we’ve been there, but the building is getting kind of old,” co-owner Tin Chang tells SFGATE. He says that patrons can expect to find a “modern, updated atmosphere” at the new location.

Despite the change of location, PPQ’s menu will remain consistent. In addition to crab and lobster dinner sets, the restaurant will continue to serve appetizers like fresh oysters, fried calamari, and shrimp rolls — alongside entrees such as curry prawns, peppercorn short-ribs, and steamed sea bass.

Chang shares that PPQ Dungeness Island will open the new Geary Street location before the end of March this year.
