According to SF Eater, “proudly ethical coffee company” Progeny Coffee, which recently opened its first location in Francisco, plans to introduce two more shops in the Bay Area this year.

“There will be seasonal signature drinks, starting with mint mochas and blueberry lattes, with all the syrups made in-house,” shares the Journal.

The article continues, “Rounding out the drinks menu is tea from the Bay Area’s own Mala Tara. Progeny’s grab-and-go section highlights minority- and impact-driven founders: juices from Happy Moose, sodas and juices from Bayjoo and Live Waku. On the food side, San Francisco bakers the French Spot and Elideli provide croissants, morning buns, and more.”

“The model we have, and the companies we work with, are incredible,” the concept’s co-owner, John Trabelsi, tells the Journal, adding, “I think we can do it.”
