Ptea-licious is coming to San Jose, according to a recent beer and wine application found in state public records. The new restaurant will take over the Baja Fresh Mexican Grill in Bernal Plaza at 117 Bernal Road

In conversation with What Now San Francisco, owner Sonia Tong says that she is excited for her first business venture. They are about to wrap up the renovation phase and over the next couple of weeks will put the finishing touches on the space. Tong confirms that if all goes according to plan, they will officially open in February

Ptea-licious will have something to satisfy any type of craving. Tong plans to have a menu inspired by Filipino and Chinese cuisine, so we can expect a wide variety of items from egg rolls to adobo. Of course, having a name with “tea” in it suggests that there will be bubble tea and Tong assures that we can expect that as well.

She also says that they will have a small bar serving beer and wine, hoping to have the license in time for their February debut. In the meantime, Tong is busy getting the Ptea-licious website and social media ready while the shop’s renovations are completed. Until then, keep an eye on Bernal Plaza to see how things are coming along.
