According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Raging Waters San Jose is temporarily reopening.

California Dreamin’ Entertainment plans to operate the park until September 2025, alongside a Raging Waters park in Sacramento. The company plans to invest $6 million in the park at 2333 South White Road for renovations, food trucks, and an outdoor wine garden,” reports the journal.

Additionally, there is an alcohol license application pending for an eatery listed as “San Jose Wine Garden” at the address.

“This proposal would help rejuvenate an East San Jose destination, ensuring that residents have access to high-quality, safe, and affordable experiences locally while advancing lease revenue and capital investment in San Jose,” City Council members Domingo Candelas and Peter Ortiz share in a recent statement

What Now San Francisco reached out to Steven Dooner, Principal at California Dreamin’ Entertainment, to inquire about the proposal, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

A reopening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
