Thad Vogler — the restaurateur behind Trou Normand and the James Beard Award-winning concept Bar Agricole — is debuting a new eatery in San Francisco’s Mission District.

While the address hasn’t yet been disclosed, SFist reports that Vogler has signed a lease for a space on Valencia Street

The announcement follows the recent closure of Bar Agricole’s 1550 Mission Street location — “[the space was] just too big and too much of a restaurant for us,” Vogler tells Tablehopper — however, whether or not the upcoming Valencia Street spot will be dedicated to the concept hasn’t yet been confirmed.

What he does share is that it will be “a bar with good snacks.”

Stay tuned for updates.
