According to the San Francisco Business Times, the restaurateur behind Sens, Barcha, and the upcoming Bon Delire is already thinking about his next culinary venture.

“There’s going to be another concept coming, perhaps as early as next year. I’ve been thinking about a spinoff from Barcha, meant for smaller locations and on the fast-casual side of things,” Kais Bouzidi tells the Journal.

He continues, “If all goes well I’ll probably start looking for real estate next year. In my mind, I just turned 40, it’s time to embrace my opportunities as a restaurateur in San Francisco. It’s a great motivation to do even more.”

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, Barcha is known as a “modern spot for Mediterranean eats in an upbeat atmosphere, plus happy hour and patio seating,” just down the street from the Ferry Building.
