Rico Rico Taco, a taquería originally based in Oakland known for its handmade tortillas and Mexico City-style street food, is getting ready to open in San Ramon at City Center Bishop Ranch at 6000 Bollinger Canyon Road, Suite 1207
The new location is set to move into the former home of C Casa, situated between West Elm and Fieldwork Brewing Company, according to the Bay Area Telegraph and also the City Center Bishop Ranch’s directory, where Rico Rico Taco is currently listed as “Coming Soon.” The 1,464-square-foot space is expected to open in February 2026, with permitting and build-out currently underway. Once open, customers can expect fast-casual service with tacos carved fresh from the trompo, along with a range of burritos, bowls, and quesadillas.
Founded in Oakland, Rico Rico Taco has earned a following for its authentic preparation of classic taquería staples, including al pastor, carne asada, and pollo asado, served on house-made corn tortillas. This San Ramon location will be its first expansion outside Oakland and brings its signature flavors to a growing mixed-use district that continues to attract chef-driven concepts and food-focused brands.
City Center Bishop Ranch is undergoing a transformation from a traditional office park into a walkable commercial hub featuring retail, dining, and entertainment options. Rico Rico Taco joins a lineup of popular tenants catering to families, professionals, and weekend visitors who frequent the high-traffic paseo where the new taquería will be located.
Guests will find a variety of menu items at Rico Rico Taco, including huarachitos, burritos, and bowls. The menu also offers vegetarian options such as hongos (mushrooms) and nopal (cactus). All dishes will follow the brand’s fast-casual, order-at-the-counter format with accessible pricing.
