According to a building worksheet found in the Oakland public records, there is consideration for a Chipotle location at 428 13th St. The record is marked “Discussion Only” so obviously nothing is confirmed at this point.
The proposal notes that the space in an existing commercial building would be built out to accommodate a walk-up window for the popular fast-casual Mexican eatery. The location is in the heart of downtown Oakland, right next to the 12 St.-Oakland BART station and within walking distance to several other local eateries, such as Trap Kitchen, Nature Vegetarian, Spices 3, and more.
