Señor Sisig announced today plans for their third brick-and-mortar location coming to the Ferry Building Marketplace this summer. Created more than a decade ago by childhood friends CEO Evan Kidera and Chef Gil Payumo, Señor Sisig is becoming a Bay Area institution for its flavorful fusing of Filipino and Mexican cuisines.

As the head chef for Señor Sisig, Payumo will spearhead the Ferry Building menu which will include an expanded vegan menu, seafood-forward items exclusive to this location, and a cocktail menu featuring Filipino and Mexican flavors curated by a local Bay Area mixologist. You’re also sure to expect Señor Sisig’s original menu featuring their classic ‘sisig’ burritos, tacos, and nachos.

In 2010, Kidera and Payumo launched Señor Sisig as a food truck that quickly gained a cult-following. The success catapulted the business into maintaining a fleet of four food trucks and two brick-and-mortars in San Francisco. They look forward to opening their third location this summer.

“The Ferry Building is one of the most iconic locations in the city,” Kidera says in a press release. “As a born-and-raised San Franciscan, opening a Señor Sisig here is an opportunity we couldn’t pass up. Between our devoted local following and visitors from around the globe who come to the Ferry Building, we’re excited to share our food and Filipino culture from this space.”

Following this location will be a fourth brick-and-mortar in Oakland, scheduled to open in Fall 2022. For more information, visit www.senorsisig.com.
