Shonshin Sushi will replace Daigo Sushi at 2450 Clement St. in Outer Richmond. Owner Zhuobin Yu has confirmed this news with What Now San Francisco, adding that he anticipates debuting the space under the new name by the end of this month.

Daigo Sushi is a popular sushi bar in Outer Richmond, where customers love to order Hamachi and Maki Rolls. Tokyo Cowboy, Baked Salmon and Salmon Citrus are among some of the most popular menu items. Of course, it’s custom to order beer and/or sake with your meal and at Daigo, they offer sake samplers.

We can only hope that not much will change besides the name under this new management. Yu has recently applied to take over Daigo’s ABC license in preparation for the transition. He intends to also operate the space as a sushi restaurant serving alcohol, so we suspect that things will remain largely the same.
