According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, a new eatery listed as Soko Soko Japanese Cuisine is planning to open in San Carlos.

Coming to 1541 Laurel Street, the restaurant will land near establishments such as Amazing Wok, iGuey Taqueria, and Mints & Honey San Carlos.

What Now San Francisco spoke briefly with the concept’s owner, David Wu, but he could not provide additional information before the time of publication.

Nevertheless, locals can likely expect to find Japanese cuisine such as sushi, ramen, and tempura on the menu — as well as a selection of beer and wine.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
