The team behind Farmhouse Kitchen has been expanding throughout the Bay Area and they show no signs of stopping in the near future. Creator and Chef Kasem Saengsawang tells What Now San Francisco that he has a new Son & Garden location coming to Palo Alto in Spring 2022.
Son & Garden’s third outpost will be taking over the former Tuba Restaurant at 535 Bryant St. This location in downtown Palo Alto is a no-brainer for Saengsawang, who expects that the existing foot traffic brought on by popular spots such as Salt & Straw and Ramen Nagi will embrace this new addition.
Saengsawang says that Son & Garden Palo Alto will have the same concept as the original San Francisco location. They’ve made a name for themselves in the city as a popular brunch spot, serving American breakfast classics with an Asian twist, all in a whimsical and grandiose setting.
Expect vintage-style Victorian couches, lush floral backdrops and decor hanging from the ceiling, tiered tea trays, kitschy neon signs, and pretty much every colorful design element you’d want to post to your Instagram feed. Not to mention, Son & Garden Palo Alto is sure to serve the same indulgent Scrambles, Benedicts, Burgers, and more alongside their creative cocktails.
While this will be Son & Garden’s third location, it will be their second in Silicon Valley. There is another location in Menlo Park on Merrill Street, right next to their sister restaurant Farmhouse Kitchen. For more information, visit their website and follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
