According to SF Eater, Nob Hill’s Michelin-starred restaurant concept Sons & Daughters is relocating to a larger location in the Mission District.
“We’ve been at our max for a long time,” the owner of the concept, Teague Moriarty, tells the Journal. “The space is beautiful, it’s going to allow us to have more staff, and continue to push Sons and Daughters to the next level.”
Coming to 2875 18th Street, taking over a space formerly home to Osito, the eatery will land near establishments such as Bobo’s Bistro, Ernest Fine Dining, and Farmhouse Kitchen Thai Cuisine.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, Sons & Daughters offers a brief introduction on its website: “Our tasting menu at Sons and Daughters is inspired by the spirit of new Nordic cuisine and rooted in classical cooking techniques. Our core values are centered around sustainability and seasonality with a focus on celebrating the abundance of produce that Northern California has to offer.”
“It’s beloved for lavish seasonal tasting menus where Osetra caviar comes paired with Swedish bread hönökaka,” the Journal shares.
The concept’s executive chef, Harrison Cheney — who has been with the business since 2022 — has received the Michelin Guide’s 2023 Young Chef Award and earned the restaurant two Michelin stars in 2024.
What Now San Francisco reached out to Moriarty to inquire about his plans for the upcoming location, but he was unable to provide additional information before publication.
Sons & Daughters plans to reopen before the end of the year. Stay tuned for updates.
