State of Mind Public House and Pizzeria is coming soon to Redwood City! Following a teaser on their Instagram page earlier this year, State of Mind has recently applied for a new beer and wine license and will take over the former Squeeze In space at 3710 Florence St.

Co-Owner Lars Smith tells What Now San Francisco that they are still in the permitting stage for this location. If all goes according to plan, they hope to open sometime this fall. While details about the new digs are going to be a surprise, Smith divulges that “it will feel very familiar, but there will be a few differences.”

State of Mind Public House and Pizzeria was founded out of inspiration by the Golden State. Their pizzas are made with California cheese and organic Bianco Dinapoli tomato sauce, while they curate a rotating tap list of their favorite craft breweries located throughout the state.

In addition to a diverse selection of IPA’s, Pale Ales, Lagers, Stouts, Sours and more, State of Mind also has craft ciders, kombucha, artisan soda, nitro cold brew coffee and bottles from independent wineries in California. The restaurant is known to have something for everyone, which is why in addition to their bites and brews you can find arcade and board games for the whole family.

In 2020, they expanded into Palo Alto with State of Mind Slice House, serving the pizza that has earned them the title of World’s Best Non-traditional Pizza at the 2017 International Pizza Expo. State of Mind fans are sure to be looking forward to having their favorite pizza and craft beer in Redwood City.
