Super Duper Burgers is opening at 3401 California St. in Laurel Village. Adriano Paganini, who owns Super Duper’s parent company Back of the House Inc., has confirmed the opening. Based on a decent DPH referral and pending ABC license floating through the city of San Francisco, it’s possible that this new location will open next month, if not sooner.
Super Duper prides itself on its locally sourced ingredients and its commitment to quality, from house-made pickles to hand-painted signage. They are known for their hamburgers made with all-natural vegetarian fed beef, 100% natural free range chicken sandwiches, organic veggie burgers, salad, fries, as well as organic shakes and soft serve.
The chain opened its first restaurant in Castro in 2010 and has since expanded throughout the Bay Area. Early in 2020, the Chronicle reported that Paganini had a Laurel Village location lined up but that it didn’t work out. Fortunately, his plans for this neighborhood of San Francisco were able to move forward a year later.
