According to a recently approved business license application, Sweet Bites bakery will become one of the on-site dining options at Elegance Berkeley, “an assisted living and memory support community that offers an active lifestyle to seniors.”
Elegance Berkeley is located at 2100 San Pablo Avenue and, according to the business website, “is a collaboration between Capital Health Group, San Francisco Bay Area developer Spirit Living, and Elegance Living management company.”
The residents’ current restaurant options include The Hive Bistro, Oasis 2100, and Poet’s Corner Restaurant — whose menu boasts apple cheddar butternut squash soup, vegetarian tacos, burgers, and chicken rollatini alla parmigiana. It’s unclear whether the addition will alter the care facility’s existing on-site dining roster.
What Now San Francisco was unable to gather more information from Sweet Bites Owner Amanda Vazquez before the time of publication. An opening date has not yet been announced.
