The owners behind Valley Bar + Bottle Shop are opening a new restaurant in Sonoma. While the name of the upcoming eatery is still undecided, the location is confirmed for 18709 Arnold Drive — an address previously belonging to Delicious Dish. Establishments in the vicinity include Berthoud Vineyards & Winery, Juanita Juanita, and Picazo Cafe.

Co-owners Emma Lipp and Tanner Walle tell What Now San Francisco that the menu is still being crafted, but that patrons can expect a “roadside thoroughfare highway spot” serving “seasonal American classics.” The eatery will be lunch-focused with seating for about 50 people, including outdoor seating available on a covered patio, plus a wine and beer program, draft lines, and a small retail section.

In addition to Lipp and Walle, co-owners Lauren Feldman and Stephanie Reagor are behind the upcoming project. For those who are unfamiliar with the team’s existing restaurant, Valley Bar + Bottle Shop was named a Bib Gourmand pick this year by the Michelin Guide. Its dinner menu offers plates like chicken with broccoli and chili oil, rockfish with greens and tomato butter, and pork adobo with cabbage and yogurt — alongside a sizable list of natural wines.

The unnamed restaurant is slated to open in early spring 2023. Further questions can be directed to [email protected].
