The owners of TacoliciousJoe Hargrave and Sara Deseran, are planning to debut a new torta-focused concept in Noe Valley — slated to open this fall.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Tacolicious, the business opened in 2009 at the Ferry Building and quickly became known for its modern, casual Mexican cuisine — offering items such as tacos, salads, and bowls. In the years following, Tacolicious expanded to Marina, the Mission, Palo Alto, and Manhattan Beach.

What Now San Francisco was unable to contact a business representative before the time of publication. Nevertheless, recent reportage provides additional insights.

According to an article by Tablehopper, the yet-to-be-named torta concept is landing at 4063 24th Street — near eateries such as Noe Valley Bakery, Pancake Boy, and The Valley Tavern.

The chef will be Guanajuato-born Fernando Guzman, who is currently developing the food and beverage program. And, finally, Hargrave tells Eater that the concept will partner with a San Francisco-based brewing company. However, there will be no liquor license, so expect “a mellower spot.”

Stay tuned for additional updates.
