Tommy’s BBQ has left its home at Richmond’s Assemble Kitchen, formerly known as Assemble Marketplace, and is heading to Hercules.

What Now San Francisco contacted Owner Tommy Ryan to inquire about the relocation, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, according to a recent report by Berkeleyside, the barbeque business is planning to open its first brick-and-mortar.

While the address has not yet been disclosed, Hercules residents can expect the “Texas-style” barbeque business to show up with its “famous,” slow-cooked racks of ribs, brisket, and grilled chicken, as well as pulled pork and sausage links. Made-from-scratch sides will include nachos and loaded potatoes, and, to wash it all down, the eatery plans to offer a selection of craft beer.

An opening date has not yet been announced, so follow Tommy’s BBQ on Facebook and Instagram for additional updates.
