Truffle Poke Bar, a Bay Area restaurant known for its truffle-infused poke bowls and build-your-own dining experience, is getting ready to open in Belmont at 1073 Alameda de las Pulgas.
The company’s fourth location is set to move into the former home of Subway in the Carlmont Village Shopping Center, according to a recent liquor license application. While an exact opening date has not been confirmed, the concept is owned and operated by Rafic Haddad and will join Truffle Poke Bar’s existing restaurants in South San Francisco, San Mateo, and Burlingame. Customers can expect the brand’s signature customizable poke bowls, chef-created combinations, and seafood-forward menu anchored by locally sourced ingredients.
Truffle Poke Bar was founded to blend simplicity, quality, and speed into a modern fast-casual dining model. With over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, primarily in kitchen operations, Haddad developed a concept that highlights high-quality ingredients and efficient service. Each location emphasizes fresh preparation, affordability, and a casual environment designed for quick meals that don’t compromise on quality.
The menu features a variety of build-your-own poke bowls, along with chef specials such as the Salmon Lover, King Kong, and Rafi’s Pick, which combine salmon, tuna, shrimp, and other proteins with house-made truffle aioli. Customers can also order oysters by the dozen, taro chips with truffle dipping sauce, and poke sold by the pound. Vegan and vegetarian options, such as the Rasta Bowl with tofu and mango, are also available.
The Belmont opening continues the brand’s expansion along the Peninsula, positioning Truffle Poke Bar among the growing mix of fast-casual dining options in the area. Its presence in Carlmont Village is expected to attract residents seeking quick, high-quality meals within a neighborhood setting focused on fresh, customizable seafood offerings.
