According to a recently submitted permit application, Stak Space — an upcoming mixed-use development in Oakland — will boast a yet-to-be-named dining concept.

What Now San Francisco reached out to representatives at Behring Companies, one of the project’s backers, to inquire about the eatery, however, additional information could not be obtained before publication.

For readers who haven’t yet heard about Stak Space, located at 1950 Broadway — near establishments such as the live music venue Crybaby, the Fox Theatre, and the Paramount Theatre — the business describes itself as a space for everyone from solo entrepreneurs to entire enterprises and “offers HQ-quality office space that you can scale up or down based on need.”

While plans for the menu are unclear, based on the filing, the eating place intends to offer beer and wine.

Stak Space is slated to open next month, however, when the restaurant will be up and running hasn’t yet been announced. Stay tuned for updates.
