Wholesome Bakery is relocating to a new address — leaving behind its spot on Divisadero due to decreased foot traffic in the neighborhood and limitations caused by the spot’s layout.
“We’re expanding, and we’re super excited about it,” Owner Mandy Harper tells SF Eater.
The address of the upcoming spot has not been announced yet, but according to the article, Harper has signed a lease and is currently having its interior designed.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, Wholesome Bakery opened in 2018 at 99 Divisadero Street. The concept is known for its pastries, bialys, pies, and cakes — all gluten-free and vegan.
At the new shop, the brunch and lunch menu will be expanded to include grab-and-go wraps, salads, soups, Nutella crepes, and jackfruit migas.
“I want locals spending the day with their best friends and sophisticated diners alike,” Harper tells the journal.
Wholesome Bakery’s Divisadero Street shop closed on November 30, and the new location plans to open in March 2024.
