The company’s second location will move into the former home of Kasper’s, which closed earlier this year, according to the San Francisco Business Times. Owner Tyranny Allen expects the location to open in December 2025. Allen describes the concept to the Business Times as aiming to be “the McDonald’s of soul food,” reflecting his ambition to scale the business while maintaining its community-oriented approach. The Telegraph Avenue site offers high visibility and a central location in Oakland’s bustling commercial district.
