According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, a new concept listed as Yumee Katsu is opening soon in Dublin.
Coming to 3878 Fallon Road — taking over a space currently home to Ramen 101 — the restaurant will land near establishments such as the ice cream shop Cold Stone Creamery, the Mexican restaurant El Pollo Loco, and the Chinese eatery Zhangliang Malatang Hot Pot.
The concept’s owner, Jeffrey Kim, tells What Now San Francisco that the restaurant will open in “maybe August,” but could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, considering the upcoming restaurant’s name, it’s highly likely that the concept will offer the Japanese comfort food Katsu — a dish made by coating a chicken or pork cutlet in panko breading before it’s deep-fried and served with the sweet and savory condiment tonkatsu sauce.
The filing also indicates that a selection of wine and beer will be offered.
Stay tuned for updates.
