A New Concept Aims to Debut in Bellingham’s Central Business District

The new concept's liquor license was filed for on July 18th.

According to a recent permit filing, a new concept has been filed for in Bellingham’s Central Business District at 1012 C Street.

A representative of the new concept was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Seattle’s request.

The name of the concept is currently listed as 1012 C St, according to the permit filing. While an official opening date, if the name will stay, and what the concept has to offer have yet to be confirmed, the concept was filed under Phase 3 LLC.

Phase 3 LLC was incorporated on September 13th, 2022, according to Washington Company Search. Brandon Bates is listed on the business and permit filing. Phase 3 LLC has filed for a spirits, beer, and wine rest lounge permit.

The search also states that Brandon is behind Schweinhaus, a beer garden that is also located in Bellingham, amongst other concepts.

According to Schweinhaus’s website, the beer garden offers “16 rotating taps featuring German-style beers plus local and unique beers. Also feat. canned beers & ciders plus select wines by the glass. Featuring German sausage plates, pretzels, and more cooked in our wood-fired oven.”
