According to a recent permit filing, a new concept called Taz aims to debut in the Belltown area at 410 Stewart Street.

“Taz will open on April 1st. It will be bright, and not a dark and gloomy space. During the morning we will serve matcha tea and egg sandwiches. During the evening, we will have craft cocktails featuring local spirits,” owner Ly Tran told What Now Seattle.

“We will be playing with our spirits by adding flavors to them (milk punches, infusions, fat washes). Taz will also have Japanese forward bites at the bar, and we will have 2 tables that seat four people for a coursed meal.”

“I wanted to open a place that serves food that I like to eat and drinks served the way I like it. While I am the owner, I will want my employees to take the spotlight. I would like to seem them grow in this industry. I’ll just be in the background.”

“I’m looking forward to attempt to bring something different to Seattle, and hope to bring life back to the downtown area.”
