According to a recent permit filing, Bindaas Sports Bar and Restaurant aims to debut in downtown Renton at 811 S 3rd Street.

“We plan to open our doors in January and we are currently in the construction phase,” Runika Tuwari, one of the brains behind the operation, told What Now Seattle.

Bindaas Sports Bar and Restaurant has filed for a spirits, wine, and beer rest lounge permission alongside a catering permit, under Bindaas LLC. Washington Company Search states that the LLC was incorporated on October 25th, 2023.

Loop Net states that Bindaas Sports Bar and Restaurant’s address is a part of the Central Renton Office. The property is a mixed-use development built in 1940. The building consists of two stories with approximately 18,000 square feet of space.

Another property listing for the building from Josh and Jolene Baijot states, “Spaces include a newly updated and successful 6,600 SF restaurant, high exposure street-level retail spaces, and 2nd-floor offices including a large banquet hall and meeting rooms.” It looks like the previous restaurant occupying the space was Hacienda Sante Fe, according to Google Earth.
